Rough Concept Sketches for 0G Y3030

These are some of my rough concept sketches that I drew while working on the game 0G Y3030. The PC version of the game would have allowed players to salvage parts from each other's spacecraft after they had battled. They would then be able to cobble together random parts to create a vast range of craft. The job required me to invent a wide variety of distinctly different ships and then imagine how they could be broken down and reassembled into completely different spacecraft. I am particularly proud of the concept of the Spider Stealth Starfighter. That ship would use the game's Newtonian physics in a way that was pretty cool. The pilot would accelerate their ship toward the enemie's space station and then close the hull of the craft before they entered sensor range of the enemy. They would then be able to drift within close distance of the station and then open the hull to reek havock before the station had time to respond.

This was one of the first sketches that I did. I was playing with industrial designs and thinking about asymmetry.

These are simply some weapon designs that I came up with. I decided that a cutting laser would be very useful for removing parts from enemy ships.

This was my idea for a stealth fighter. It would have taken advantage of the game's use of true Newtonian Physics.
